Choose To Reuse - How A Hydro Flask® Helps

Since being back in Cali, i’ve been super observant of the plastic use around me. From my observations, plastic use is mainly for convenience, considering people here are almost always on the go. It’s understandable, but definitely avoidable.

Here are a few things we might not know about plastic bottles :

1. It takes 3x the amount of water to actually produce a single bottle of water - in a time where water supply itself is almost limited. 2. Bottle production uses 17 million barrels of crude oil a year, and also requires great amounts of fossil fuel to make. 3. Only 1 of every 6 bottles are actually recycled. 4. At least 38 BILLION water bottles fill up US landfills each year and it takes 1000+ years for plastic bottle to decompose.

As mentioned earlier, these really are just a few facts about plastic bottles and I urge you guys to put in the research if the information concerns you. But what else can we do to lessen our use of plastic bottles?

By simply using a reusable bottle (like a Hydro Flask®) and filling it up on the go - like at home, the office, the water fountain or asking for a refill at a restaurant. We just need to sacrifice our convenience just a bit. All for a good cause.
